For as long as I can remember, ancient Chinese culture and its knowledge has been of great interest to me. Having encountered some texts about Daoist meditation and embryonic breading last year I had developed a very strong interest in this subject. And here I was.., at the Five Immortals Temple studying the foundation of internal alchemy from an ancient and direct lineage transmission.

After the Water Taiji course I had been traveling for a week around the country and now I was finally back at the temple. New people had arrived, new energy could be felt, and new doors of understanding and perceiving life were about to be opened.

From my week away food poisoning made meditation difficult during the first 2 days, but as soon as it subsided, I was able to put in practice some of the techniques shared by Li Shifu to calm the body and the mind.

The Nei Dan (internal alchemy) course is simply extraordinary. An invaluable opportunity to learn about true ancient Daoist alchemical methods for self cultivation. All the way throughout the course, the content became more profound and astonishing. This experience has certainly challenged my way of understanding reality and its interconnections as well as bringing up unimaginable possibilities within this life.
